Gucci Envy (for women) – short story

The fashion house of Gucci has launched the perfume Envy in 1997. It is the first one from the series with the same name. In 2004 the Envy Me appear while in 2006 – Envy Me 2. With its appearance the Envy becomes one of the most interesting and provocative scents for its time. The perfumer that has created this fragrance is Maurice Roucel.
There are several commercial campaigns. Each one of them is scandalous. The head of a model is falling down while it is playing a pursuer of a naked woman instead of staying behind the showcase – things that we are all used to seeing and letting them attract out attention. The fronts of the advertising campaign are the African model Georgina Grenville, the American model Kelly Steward, along with the British models Carolyn Park-Chapman and Janet Dunning (which apart from being a model is also interested in photography). The current face of Gucci Envy is the beautiful Hana Soukupova.

Pyramid of the aromatic feelings and duration of the fragrance

Envy resembles one of those spring-summer fragrances that are so refreshing. There is no way though to be classified as colorful of multi layer – it counts on the small and usual one. What is important about this fragrance are the details. The dominating part are the green notes but what is typical about them is that they are not hard and sharp ones. Here along with the woody a quite contemporary scent is created with a slight metal fragrance bearing the freshness with it. The unexpected appearance of the metal touch in the disclosure of the perfume can wither the feeling of it. This doesn’t take long actually. It gets calmed down by the fruitful scents of the peach and pineapple. Slowly the Envy is getting even more calm and tender. It starts disclosing the tender flowers it contains such as the freesia, magnolia, violet, jasmine, lily and rose. Getting out of the core of the scent we can reveal its base. There we can easily distinguish the presence of the musk and the oak moss. This is what makes the base of the fragrance slightly dry and hard. The sandal and cedar trees, despite their very specific scent, are not that strong and we can hardly notice the. Still they have really contributed for the scent to be what it is now.
The duration of Envy is around 15 hours – enough to evaluate its qualities and different phases. They can reveal arrogance, pride but never cross the line to turn into cynicism. We can say that they are just keeping the tension and then totally capture us.

Recommended places to use

Spray the fragrance on your neck and around your décolletage. In slow and short sprays the Envy will start breathtaking the people around you. You should be moderate and should not use too much of the perfume – just count on its qualities and elegance.

Shape, shade and original wrapping

The Envy of Gucci can be described as a deep and calming perfume. Embraces you like a green mist bearing the metal and colorful scents with it. The flowery ornaments and the construction of steel create a fake illusion of vulnerability, fragility and brittleness. Despite its emotional vulnerability Envy is really clear. It is delicate but is still able to bring the most sinful thought to one’s mind. May be that is one of the reasons why it is so attractive and irresistible.
The bottle is crystal and long. The liquid in it is with a slightly yellow touch. You can find it in various sizes of 30 ml., 50 ml. and 100 ml.
