The perfume was launched by the design house Christian Dior. It was released on the market I 2005. Its creator is Christine Nagel with the participation of John Galliano it coincides with the 100the anniversary of the design house Christian Dior. John Galliano shared that he got the inspiration for this aroma from Stivie Wonder’s song “My Cherie Amour”. He also caught up with the idea for the perfume from a Dior dress which was presented in 1940 under the title “Cherie”. Galliano commented that the perfume was intended to impress the modern woman who counted on confidence and decisiveness. He added that he didn’t want to disregard the classics but fashion in perfumes is fast changing, so its aroma should be attractive at the time of testing.
